Event and Program Space Rentals*

The Sacramento YWCA building has office space and meeting space available for rent. The midtown location, just a few blocks from the Capitol, makes it convenient for business, social and civic gatherings. During the 2009 – 10 fiscal year, the entire building went through renovations. Therefore, everything in the building is brand new and state-of-the-art equipment exists in every room.

Event Rentals

The YWCA is all about community, and in Sacramento that extends to making space available for meetings, meals, performances, worship, yoga, and dancing.

Auditorium —
This spacious, high-ceilinged room has seats that can be removed to make way for dining tables or dancing.
Size: 2,200 sq. ft.
Accommodates: 330 standing, 155 seated
Hourly rent: $90
Amenities: 400 square-foot stage with lighting and sound systems, hardwood floors and paneling, full-length mirrors. Food may be served.

Dining/Board Room —
Painted beams on the ceiling, lots of windows and a fireplace with a copper mantel make this an elegant choice for business meetings or receptions.
Size: 820 sq. ft.
Accommodates: 30 seated
Hourly rent: $60
Amenities: Paneling and hardwood floors, fireplace, conference table, and chairs; direct access to the kitchen. Food may be served.

Lounge —
Business colleagues, community groups and civic organizations appreciate the space and comfort, including a fireplace, found in this welcoming room.
Size: 960 sq. ft.
Accommodates: 70 standing, 50 seated
Hourly rent: $70
Amenities: Large windows, hardwood floor, beamed ceiling, a variety of seating options available. Food may be served.

Kitchen –
The kitchen area, including the stove, convection ovens and lots of counter space, may be rented in order to serve food. Renters must bring their own cookware, pots, pans, dishes, etc.
Hourly rent is $40.

Courtyard —
Tucked into the back of the building, this private patio is planted with large shade trees, making it the perfect spot for weddings, receptions, teas and similar outdoor events.
Size: 1,100 sq ft.
Accommodates: 100 standing, 40 seated
Hourly rent: $40
Amenities: Lush plantings, tables, and chairs available, access to the kitchen. Food may be served.

Room 214A —
A large room suitable for business meetings, social events or classroom instructions.
Size: 480 sq. ft.
Accommodates: 35 seated
Hourly rent: $40
Amenities: Tables and chairs available

Office Space —
Office space is available for rent on a monthly basis. All utilities, except for telephone, are included in the rent.

Location: Second Floor
Size: 90 sq. ft (9 ‘ by 10’)
Monthly Rent: $500

Location: Lower Floor
Size: 2,000 sq. ft.
Monthly Rent: $2,000

Therapy Room / Small Business Meeting Room —
A small business meeting room, carpeted, for six people with comfortable lounge chairs and desk, if needed.
Size: 130 sq. ft.
Accommodates: 6 seated
Hourly rent: $50
Amenities: Two couches, desks, chairs
