Head Teacher/Site Supervisor

Location: Bay Point, CA

Employment Type: Full-time (8 hours per day), Immediate

Opening Salary: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour (Depending on permit level and experience)

Responsibilities: 

• Plan, prepare, and implement an anti-bias curriculum.
• Create an inviting environment that includes activities promoting cognitive, physical, social-emotional, linguistic, and creative growth.
• Adhere to Licensing and State Department of Education regulations and standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of educational philosophy and standards.
• Provide proper supervision of children at all times.
• Conduct State-mandated Desired Results Developmental Profiles (DRDPs) and conferences twice yearly.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 24 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units and 16 General Education (GE) units.
• Must hold a teacher permit or higher, or be eligible to apply for one.
• Current knowledge of educational philosophy and standards is required.

Requirements: 

• Fingerprint clearance.
• DMV record.
• Physical and agility tests.
• Recent TB test results (or test provided during physical).
• Immunization records: Flu, MMR, and TDAP shots.
